PULSE OF THE CITY
The project "Pulse of the City: Artistic Narratives Through Biometric Data" seeks to explore the dynamic intersection of art, technology, and identity by capturing and visualizing biometric data from artists as they create. Through a series of collaborative jam sessions, live drawing and painting sessions, we will gather real-time data on artists' physiological responses—such as heart rate, muscle activity, and brainwaves—while they engage in their creative processes. This innovative approach not only provides a unique insight into the subconscious drivers of artistic expression but also fosters a deeper connection between the artists and their audience. By transforming objective biometric data into subjective visual and sonic art, we aim to highlight the shared human experience within diverse cultural narratives, ultimately empowering artists and communities to reclaim ownership of their stories in an era of corporate data exploitation.
ARTS BIOMETRICS COMMUNITY
ARTS BIOMETRICS COMMUNITY
What if we could see the details of creativity in real time—our heart rate, muscle activity, and brainwaves—transcribed into visual and sonic art, revealing the subconscious forces behind expression?
Art Meets Electromyography
By using muscle signals to create dynamic visual and auditory experiences, we transform electromyographic (EMG) data into artistic expression. This project explores the intersection of movement, technology, and creativity—offering a new way to see, hear, and feel the body's hidden rhythms.
